Who runs this site

UpcomingIPO is published by Vinod Shekokar and is a personal, independently run site. There is no company behind it and no third party with access to its data other than the service providers named below. Questions about anything on this page go to contact@upcomingipo.in.

What we never ask for

This is worth stating first because it is the thing that matters most on an IPO site. We never ask for your PAN, demat account number, bank details or IPO application number. Allotment status links on this site deep-link to the registrar or the exchange, so those details go directly to them and never pass through us. Anyone asking for them in this site’s name is not us.

Analytics

Page views are recorded first-party, on our own server. The design is deliberately minimal:

• No IP address is stored. It is used to build a visitor key and then discarded.
• That key rotates daily. It is a truncated digest of IP, browser user-agent and a salt that changes every day, which yields a daily unique-visitor count while making it impossible to follow one person across days or to work backwards to an address.
• Signed-in accounts are not linked to page views. The two are stored separately and there is no endpoint that joins them — the analytics table carries no user id at all.
• We record the page path, the referring site’s domain, and a device category.

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no third-party analytics or tracking script of any kind on this site.

Advertising, and the cookies that come with it

This site carries advertising through Google AdSense, which is its only source of revenue. Ads are how the site is paid for; nothing on it is sponsored and no listing, figure or ranking can be bought.

These cookies are set by Google, not by us, and are governed by Google’s privacy policy rather than this one.

Signing in

Signing in is optional and always will be — every page on this site works fully without an account, and nothing is placed behind a login. If you do sign in, it is with Google, and we store only what Google returns: your email address, your name, your profile image URL and Google’s stable account identifier. No password ever reaches this site.

We store no phone number, no PAN, no demat details and no financial information of any kind. To have your account and its data deleted, email contact@upcomingipo.in from the address you signed in with.

Who else receives data

• Google AdSense — advertising, as described above.
• Google Sign-In — only if you choose to sign in.
• Microsoft Azure — hosting. Server logs are retained by the platform in the ordinary course of operating a website.

Nothing is sold, rented or shared with anyone else, and there are no data brokers, email list providers or marketing platforms involved.

Your choices

• Block or clear cookies in your browser; the site remains fully usable without them.
• Opt out of personalised ads using the links above.
• Ask for your account data to be deleted, by email.
• Use the site without signing in at all, which is the default.

Children

This site is intended for adults making their own investment decisions and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not keep one.
