Fundamentals

The business, its valuation and returns
Packaging — Flexible Packaging

Vedant Poly Fabs makes flexible packaging materials from plastic films. It was incorporated in Kolkata in 2018 and became a public company in 2025.

The numbers

  • Revenue: ₹115.1 Cr in FY26, up 42% from ₹81.0 Cr in FY25 (₹49.5 Cr in FY24)
  • Profit after tax: ₹11.0 Cr in FY26, against ₹4.6 Cr and ₹0.6 Cr; PAT margin 9.5%
  • Return on net worth: 26.0% in FY26
  • Balance sheet: net worth ₹42.3 Cr at March 2026, with debt at 1.11× equity
  • EPS: ₹10.01 for FY26, about 9× earnings at the top of the band (₹94)

The June 2026 quarter brought ₹30.3 Cr of revenue and ₹3.5 Cr of profit.

Where the money goes

The ₹56.7 Cr issue has two parts: a fresh issue of 54.3 lakh shares for the company, and an offer for sale of 6.0 lakh shares by the promoter.

Worth knowing

  • Profit has grown much faster than sales — from ₹0.6 Cr to ₹11.0 Cr in two years — so the margin is new.
  • Plastic raw materials move with crude-oil prices, and the filing notes reliance on its top ten suppliers.
  • This is an SME issue on NSE Emerge: 1,200 shares a lot.

GMP is unofficial. Grey Market Premium is quoted by private dealers outside the exchange mechanism and is not recognised or regulated by SEBI. Figures vary by source, can change within minutes, and frequently diverge from actual listing prices.
